This Pattern collection was inspired by the flora and fauna of the hills of California as it is illuminated in the hours before sunset. The energy and abundance of cacti paired with the irregularity of sprigs of wildflowers is into loose brush strokes and mark-making. Textural dots scattered throughout the pattern are reminiscent of the wildlife that lies in the greenery, like the bobcat native to the area.
